Doctor Denegri is a graduate of the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa. He is also a graduate of the University of Colorado Health Science Center in the program of Family Medicine Residence and has practiced medicine in Colorado since 1976, especially active in the care of migrant workers.
He is currently involved in the Family Medicine Program at the University of Colorado, teaching medical students and residents. He is member of the Colorado Academy of Family Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Peruvian American Medical Society. He is also member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of Work Health Rural Medicine. Dr. Denegri is a staff physician with the Hospice of Metro Denver and maintains active privileges in the Department of Primary Care at Platte Valley Medical Center. He is a past medical director of Valley Health Plan, Salud Clinic, in Ft. Lupton. Doctor Denegri maintains a close affiliation with the medical community in Lima, Peru.
Doctor Denegri has an extensive experience in primary care serving the Hispanic community in the areas of geriatrics, internal medicine, women’s health, pediatrics and trauma. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
